Design and build innovative solutions around Green Energy
The goal of the International Research Project is to fuse IT trends with the urgent demands of the Green Energy revolution, all within a vibrant intercultural framework. Industry partners and universities collaborate to co-create and define real-world challenges, allowing you to design innovative solutions for the future of energy..
You have the opportunity to travel to South Africa to test your innovations in the field or participate remotely during specific project blocks.
Technologies
For this project you will require basic knowledge of Machine Learning, AI and Software Development.
Introductory classes will be planned to get you started in the needed technology.
This project aims to deliver a prototype to the stakeholder.
Field Implementation Week
The International Research project is a blended COIL (Collaborative Online International learning), thus a field implementation week is planned in South Africa during the week of 20-24 April . This is the week after the Easter break, which allows you to extend your stay. South African students probably participate in the PXL BusIT week in March, so there are two possible moments to meet in person.
The participation of the field implementation weeks is not mandatory.
Coaching
Coaching will be done by the stake holder, lecturers from PXL, Fontys and BC.
For the team coaching several online classes and periodical meetings will be planned.
The deliverables are the same as for students that participate on the regular Research Project.
